Alicja Żywicka

Alicja is expert in personal data protection, copyright and labour law.

She has gained experience working for law firms in Lublin and Szczecin. She has also worked for a private data protection company.

She is the author of several publications, including:
– chapter entitled: “The right to first editions or to scientific and critical editions of works in the legal monograph entitled: “Copyright and publishing activity” edited by A. Niewęgłowski, N. Tomasiak, C. Zapała.
– chapter entitled: “Protection of animal breeds in intellectual property law” in the legal monograph entitled: “Intellectual property in business” edited by A. Niewęgłowski, I. Nowak, CH Beck, Warsaw 2017, pp. 139-147.
– and a co-author of the chapter entitled: “Problems of respect for fundamental human rights in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic – Selected issues – The universal system of human rights during pandemic challenges”, edited by J. Jaskiernia, K. Spryszak, Adam Marszałek Publishing House, Toruń 2022 (part on the right to privacy ). Publication in print.

In 2019 she defended her Master’s thesis entitled: “Unfair advertising as an example of an act of unfair competition”, prepared under the supervision of professor. Marian Zdyb. In 2020 she completed postgraduate studies in personal data protection. Currently, she is a legal trainee at the Lublin Bar Association.

Alicja loves animals, travel and sound images distributed on both large and small screens.
