Jakub Borowiak
Jakub is a law graduate from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań; he was awarded several times for high academic results, a winner of the AMU Rector’s scholarship. He is an active volunteer of the Court Watch Polska Foundation supporting positive changes in the Polish judiciary.
His professional interests include telecommunications law and new technology law, commercial companies law, in particular civil law relations between companies and procedures related to their mergers, divisions and transformations.
Jakub provides legal services to telecommunications undertakings. He deals with, among others, cases concerning damage to fibre optic networks and permits for the placement of telecommunications infrastructure on public roads. Jakub is actively involved in liquidation proceedings and registration proceedings of companies and foundations. On a daily basis, he analyses legislative processes regarding draft legal acts, both national and EU, related to the telecommunications and media markets.
